Located in a spacious 1,200 sq ft railway arch, our studio offers approximately 900 sq ft dedicated to photography and videography. We provide both flash and continuous lighting, so all you need to bring is your camera and creativity. We provide an affordable South London photography studio for photographers, creatives and small business owners to shoot their stills & videos.
We only charge for backdrop paper if you need a brand-new, spotless section—simple as that! This studio was designed by a photographer, for creatives like you. All you need to bring is your camera or your go-to photographer/videographer. A studio space can really take your next shoot to the next level—why not give it a try?
The photography studio space is ideal for photography, filming, and running workshops. The arch location is also good for filming music videos. Our location means we can make a fair bit of noise and not annoy any of our neighbours.
While our studio is perfect for photography and videography, it isn’t soundproof. Being situated in a railway arch, there’s regular train noise, so it’s not ideal for recording long audio sequences. The photography studio is only suitable for strobe or continuous light work as there is no natural light.
Music video and commercial filming shoots are charged at the higher £60 rate per hour as lighting assist is mandatory on these. The only exception to this is if you bring your own lights and rigging.
Our studio is your ultimate creative playground! We’ve got a sturdy white MDF stage and a super handy back wall where you can attach all sorts of props and setups to bring your vision to life. And when it comes to backdrops, you’re spoiled for choice—with around 20 different options! From clean classics like white, mid-greys, and deep charcoal to bold colors like pink, yellow, red, purple, and a spectrum of blues, there’s something to match every vibe. See the full list of paper backdrop here.
For smaller product photography, we’ve got your back with tabletop supports and sheet materials that make setup a breeze. And here’s a little secret: the studio also moonlights as my workshop, fully equipped with tools and various materials you need for set building. If you’ve got a unique idea, let’s chat—we’re here to help you make it happen.
Need to create a cozy, moody space? We’ve got props, fabrics, and four poly board stands perfect for transforming the studio. Pair those with lightweight rigging system for hanging fabrics and you can craft intimate setups where all the focus is on your subject.
